WATER AND ENERGY SAVING APPLICATIONS
Marishower:
Chromium plated shower FLV; Threaded ½” BSP to fit the inlet end of any
shower hose.
Will often fit behind a wall mounted shower when fixed by a screw thread.
Usually set with a 9 LPM flow to conform to DEFRA’s recommendation.
Marispray:
Chromium plated basin tap FLV which replaces a 24mm threaded spray outlet.
Usually set with a 6 LPM flow to conform to DEFRA’s recommendation.
TopHat Type;
Two types are standard for 15 and 22 mm copper tube.
These are fitted into the tube on the downstream side of the service
valve compression joint.
The 15 mm size is used for basin tap control where the Marispray cannot be used.
Usually fitted with a 6 LPM control but can be for 4 LPM in public toilets or 9 LPM for kitchen taps.
The 22 mm size is used when bath overflows need to be prevented.
A 20 LPM control ring is usually proposed.
Typical Uses:
Hotel rooms, sports centres, public toilets, barracks, hospitals, football stadia, holiday centres office blocks, ships, off shore living quarters; on showers and or basin taps to save water and energy.
